Energy Web Token (EWT) is the native cryptocurrency of the Energy Web Chain, an open-source blockchain platform tailored to the energy sector. Launched by the Energy Web Foundation in 2019, EWT aims to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon, customer-centric electricity system by enabling the development of decentralised applications (dApps).
