BNB’s window opened at $772.40 (Wednesday 7 October close, per Investing.com). It fell due to the broad crypto market sell-off on Thursday. A price recovery to $754.10 on Sunday was followed by a slip back to around $730 on Wednesday 14 October. Even after the dip, BNB is still about 34% above where it ended June. This covers 8 to 14 October 2026.

    Thursday 8 October: The Flush

BNB fell by 4.74% to $735.80. It opened at $772.30 and reached an intraday high of $776.20 before falling to an intra-window low of $718.00. The broader market sold off with BNB. Analysts cited hawkish Fed minutes, a 10-year Treasury yield near 5.3%, and oil prices above $100 as potential market-moving factors, in addition to a flush of leveraged longs. No BNB-specific trigger was reported. On BNB Chain, Travala launched a native AI travel agent with BNB Chain and Binance Pay.

    Friday 9 October: Steadier

BNB increased by 0.91% to $742.50 (range: $733.30-$745.89). Buyers came in above Thursday’s low.

    Saturday 10 October: Small Gains

BNB increased by 1.04% to $750.20 (range: $741.50-$753.90).

    Sunday 11 October: Weekly Close

BNB increased by 0.52% to $754.10 (range: $744.80-$758.49). The weekly close was down 5.18% from the previous Sunday’s close ($795.30).

    Monday 12 October: Further Losses

BNB fell by 2.82% to $732.80 (from an open of $754.60 and a high of $757.90, to a low of $732.50). No BNB-specific trigger was reported.

    Tuesday 13 October: Dip Bought

BNB was up 1.21% to $741.70. It dipped to $722.71, then recovered towards $747.80. BNB Standard Corporation (BNC), formerly CEA Industries (the world’s largest BNB treasury), launched its new website and expanded treasury dashboard.

    Wednesday 14 October: Softer Again

BNB traded between about $731 and $747 and was around $730 at the last reading (close not final). That’s about -5.3% since the 7 October close.

    US Spot BNB ETFs

Only 1 US spot BNB ETF exists, VanEck’s VBNB, so there is no Top 5.

VanEck BNB ETF (VBNB): $96.77M in net assets, 132,787 BNB as of 14 October. It is the first US spot BNB ETF, trading since 28 May. About 95.91% of the BNB is staked, with a net staking yield of about 0.5% and an expense ratio of 0.39%.

    Top BNB Treasury Companies

Only 3 are tracked, not 5. Total: about 686K BNB, around 0.52% of total supply.

BNB Standard Corporation (BNC): about 515,544 BNB (as of 31 July 2026), renamed from CEA Industries on 29 September after a community vote, keeping the BNC ticker.

Nano Labs (NA): about 128,000 BNB.

The Brooker Group: about 43,022 BNB.

BNB Plus Corp (BNBX) announced on 2 October that it is pivoting from a pure BNB treasury to blockchain and AI infrastructure.

    Updates on BNB Chain

Pasteur Hard Fork: Went live on mainnet on 25 August and includes updates to bridge verification (BEP-682), validator controls (BEP-695), and block building (BEP-675). In the three days to 1 September, BEP-675 produced approximately 98% of the blocks on BNB Chain, and its blocks averaged about 28% more gas than the previous path.

Gas Limit: Validators were moving the target to 70M ahead of 15 September, with 80M and potentially 90M next on the horizon.

BSC Payment Lane: The intended launch of the payment lane is Q4 2026 and requires a validator vote. 0-fee USDC, USD1, and U transactions are available until 31 October.

Client Releases: Optional release of v1.7.8 on 11 August, and a developer preview (v1.8.0-alpha) on 13 August.

    What’s next: The 37th burn

The 37th burn is expected to occur in mid-October. As of 14 October, I could not find a confirmed date for the burn. The 36th burn, which occurred on 15 July, removed 1,615,827.795 BNB (roughly $932M) from circulation. After that burn, the total BNB supply was about 133.17 million, and the goal is to reach a total supply of 100 million.

    What it means

The drop was general across the markets, not BNB-specific. As support, the $718 to $723 zone held twice (8 and 13 October). Despite the recent drops, BNB is still well above where it ended June. The ecosystem keeps growing, with a staking ETF already live and Payment Lane planned for Q4. BNB Chain is also due to conduct the 37th burn, reducing BNB supply.
