Star Atlas is a blockchain-based, next-generation gaming metaverse built on the Solana network that merges cinematic graphics, real-time transactions, and secure ownership of in-game assets through NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). Launched in 2021, the project is set in a futuristic space-themed virtual universe, allowing players to explore, interact, and trade in a massively multiplayer online strategy game context. The native token, ATLAS, is utilised for in-game currency transactions, while POLIS serves as the governance token enabling users to influence the game's future development through voting rights.
